You have overlooked the best goalie in Sweden. It is not Jonas Gustavsson that had the highest SAVE%, 93.14 and the lowest GAA, 1.96 (ranking 1st in the league in both). It is in fact Frolunda Indians goalie Johan Holmqvist. He has been completely outstanding in Elitserien this season with flawless performances the entire season (except those four, five games when he played like shit and later exchanged).
Although he didn't have as many shutouts as Jonas Gutavsson (4 SO) in Farjestad, Johan Holmqvist (2 SO) is still the best goalie without a doubt. His stats this season was: SAVE%, 91.66 (6th in the league) and GAA, 2.17.
The playoff has really shown Johan's superiority. So far during the swedish playoff Jonas Gustavsson have played rather mediocre, SAVE%, 98.63 and a GAA of 0.33. Johan Holmqvist on the other hand has displayed a goaltending worthy of swedish former mega-star Tommy Salo with an impressive GAA of 3.00.
So if you are planning to sign one swedish goalie make sure it is Johan Holmqvist, winner of "Honken Trophy" 08/09.
